RUSTMASTER is a well known variety that shows dense rapid growth of good quality forage when seeded in the fall. Since it is a diploid, a higher dry matter percentage can be expected compared to tetraploid varieties, making silage and hay production easier. Additional features of Rustmaster include excellent rust resistance and flexibility for either grazing or mechanical harvest. Rustmaster is useful for either conventional or frost seeding. Rustmaster is very rust resistant and especially suited for the Southern states.
