Meadow Fescue x Italian ryegrass

LOFA is tetraploid and with "Italian" appearance, but with better persistence. It has excellent winter hardiness as well.

Ideal partner in mixtures

Lofa has high yields with a high sugar content. Lofa is best used for silage in mixture with other grasses like perennial ryegrass, meadow fescue, Timothy or tall fescue festulolium, and red clover. In such mixtures, Lofa brings high yield and high forage quality.
