The heading of BALIN is late in the spring, which provides good quality for a long period before heading starts. Therefore BALIN offers high flexibility for forage use.

Advantageous growth height

The growth height is medium. The growth of BALIN enables it to compete sufficiently with tall growing grass in mixtures.

Excellent for mixtures 

The density of BALIN is intermediate which is ideal for a Poa pratensis variety when used in mixtures with other grasses.

Good resistance

The winter-hardiness is good and BALIN has excellent resistance to Crown Rust and other common grass diseases.

The yield of green and dry matter is high compared with other forage grass types.
