Characteristic

GARIBALDI is very productive in terms of DM yield (see table below) as well as in terms of good forage feeding quality. The regrowth is very quick and the persistence is also good because official trails in Poland showed that the winter-hardiness of GARIBALDI was the best in the third year. GARIBALDI growth very dense, and therefore it represents the new tetraploid type of perennial ryegrass. GARIBALDI also shows good figures in France which is an impressive indication of its broad adaptively to different climates.
