Characteristic

RAJAH is a diploid variety grown under European conditions as an intermediate variety in earliness. The flowering of RAJAH is intermediate to late, which gives a good flexibility for use in the spring. RAJAH has a good resistance against Sclerotinia and nematodes, ensuring good persistence.

 

Yield

RAJAH has out yielded the other varieties under cold conditions in Sweden. The protein content of red clover is approximately 22%. RAJAH produces high yields of dry matter and protein.
