Perennial ryegrass(Lolium perenne)
Ryegrass is often the most used component in a lawn mixture. It is known for its fast and easy establishment, and high resistance to wear. It's ideal for use in high traffic areas such as football fields, playgrounds, and parks. Because it is so easy to establish, it is also ideal for oversowing. A whole new generation of lawn ryegrass has been bred in the last five years by DLF-TRIFOLIUM. These varieties are extremely fine-leaved and dense, making them ideal for ornamental lawns.
