EVORA is an improved Kentucky bluegrass with improved turf quality and moderately dark green turf color. It is classified as a “BMV” type Kentucky bluegrass. Typically these varieties have intermediate rhizomatous tillering with improved resistance to leaf spot, dollar spot and fusarium blight. Evora also provides excellent semi-dormant winter growth and early spring green-up.

 

EVORA is the journeyman of Kentucky bluegrass varieties. It can be utilized for elite Kentucky bluegrass blends on golf course fairways, tees and roughs. Evora may also be utilized in mixtures containing containing improved perennial ryegrass, fine fescues and improved turf-type tall fescue.
